रक्तदान ही वर्तमान समाजातील अतिशय गरजेची गोष्ट आहे.रक्त हे सामाजिक/शारिरीक संसाधन आहे, त्याची निर्मिती मनुष्यशरीराखेरीज अन्य प्रयोगशाळेमध्ये करता येत नाही आणि म्हणूनच समाजातून समाजाकडे, मानवाकडून­मानवाकडे सत्ता रक्ताचा प्रवास­त्याचा उपचारात्मक उपयोगितेतून होत असतो. 'रक्तदान' कारणारे अनेक लोक आहेत, रक्तपेढयांच्या माध्यमातून रक्तदान शिबिराचे आयोजन करून रक्ताची उपलब्धता करून देण्यास रक्तदाते आणि शिबिर संयोजक यांचा महत्ताचा सहभाग असतो. रक्तदान करताना वास्तविक पाहता काहीही त्रास होत नाही. मात्र क्वचित काही रक्तदात्यांना अल्प ते मध्यम­तीव्र स्वरूपाचा त्रास होऊ शकतो याचे प्रमाण निश्चितच नगण्य असे आहे.

Using literature to create awareness about the status of women in society

In order to ensure that women have wider access to education, the current batch of learners ought to be better educated about the status of women in our society. Once they could better visualize the society around them, they could take an initiative to improve the conditions of the women around them. This paper proposes that Indian literary texts which portray the condition of women in society could be used in schools to make students better judges of their surroundings and hence, could be a palpable idea to achieve the same. It furthers explores the possibility of using SudhaMurty's Dollar Bahu and Mahashweta. Since both texts are set in the Indian context, the learners would be able to envisage the real situation and construct their knowledge of society around the same.

Researchers have documented the benefits of regular team building and physical activity for a healthy life. Regular physical activity reduces the risk of hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, and some cancers. Engaging in regular team building exercises and physical activity improves psychosocial health and decreases stress. This is particularly important for college freshman, who are at increased risk of developing unhealthy behaviors with the transition into a new environment. Common stressors that create unhealthy behaviors and physical inactivity for college students include chronic illnesses, academic load, social life, campus residence, and family events.
